assembly instructions
The goal of an assembly instruction is to provide the end customer of a product with a manual on how to assemble and maintain the purchased article.
At hf-consult we have specialised on creating assembly instructions for furniture and office furniture for kd (knock down) products.
The need for precise
assembly instructions has arisen through a law amended by the European Union regarding product liability.
If the assembly instruction is unduly or not understandable, the product as a whole subsists a defect (Ikea clause). As such, any person who wants to set up
furniture may rely upon the correctness and comprehensibility of the provided instruction plan.
The need for proper and understandable assembly instructions is apparent. A failure to have such a document for a product on the market can be very cost
intensive not mentioning customer dissatisfaction.
To create an assembly instruction we use the CAD data provided. Aim is to create graphics and illustrations explaining each and every step needed to
assemble your do-it-yourself furniture. If possible, no text is used at all making expensive translations unnecessary.
